(1) TS: Trim Sensitivity, which is the change of FL (frequency deviation from the nominal value) with respect to the change of load capacitance by 1pF (unit: ppm/pF). It is also known as frequency tractability or frequency sensitivity.
(2) Factors affecting TS: (1) crystal design, (2) electrode design (under other conditions, TS is proportional to the electrode size).
(3) Relationship between TS and load capacitance: for products of the same specifications, the smaller the load capacitance, the larger the TS, and the crystal frequency is more susceptible to external parasitic capacitance.
(4) To ensure smooth and stable connection of RF signals, the frequency deviation tractability sensitivity of the crystal on the transmitting and receiving ends should be similar. TS is not simply better when it is larger or smaller, but should be matched with the customer's mainboard/platform module.
